PLEASE NOTE: Welding required.

The RH4x4 Rear Frame Brace Kit strengthens your factory rear cross member by bracing it directly to your frame rails. On a Jeep YJ some welding is required since your rear shackle sits so close to your frame.

The rear cross member twists over time and with the addition of a heavier aftermarket rear bumper, like our RH-2001-C Rear Bumper and Tire Carrier, you are adding upwards of 100 lbs to a frame that's decades old. Beef up your rear end with the addition of our Frame Brace Kit.
